# Inflection > Inflection, by Kinelytics, is a technology-agnostic software delivery practice for enterprises. Small, AI-augmented teams of 2–4 engineers build, modernize, integrate, and secure full-stack applications — on-premises or in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud — adopting each customer's chosen platforms and patterns, at a fixed price per outcome and typically 3–4x faster than traditional consulting estimates. Our thesis: the industrial model of software delivery — revenue that scales with headcount, billable hours as the core metric, coordination overhead that grows faster than the team — is structurally obsolete. AI changed the leverage equation. Scale is no longer an advantage; coordination is now overhead. Large consulting firms can't compress delivery without destroying their own revenue model. Inflection is what software delivery looks like when you start from that premise. ## How we work - **Compressed delivery cells:** teams of 2–4 engineers, each augmented by AI-native tooling. No project managers, no scrum masters, no program bloat. Direct decision-making authority and outcome accountability. - **AI-native workflows:** AI embedded in code generation, testing, documentation, and deployment — not bolted onto legacy process. - **Fixed-price, outcome-oriented engagements:** we define the outcome, price it, and deliver it. No hourly billing, no scope-creep negotiations. Our incentive is velocity, not hours logged. - **Production-ready on delivery:** no "MVP to be productionized later." - **Technology-agnostic:** full-stack development on-premises, in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. We adopt the platforms, patterns, and standards each enterprise customer has already chosen rather than imposing our own. We have particular depth in Microsoft technologies, but we aren't limited to them. ## Industrial vs. post-industrial | Industrial model | Post-industrial model (Inflection) | |---|---| | Revenue scales with headcount | Revenue scales with leverage | | Billable hours as core metric | Outcomes delivered as core metric | | Team size determines capacity | AI augmentation determines capacity | | Coordination overhead increases exponentially | Minimal coordination by design | | Process as risk-mitigation theater | Structure as velocity enabler | ## Delivery examples - **Agentic AI:** a fully autonomous sales-capture agent built on LangChain — 5 weeks, 1 person, fixed price (traditional estimate: 16–20 weeks, 8–12 people). Turned multi-day customer workshops into a 3-hour meeting. - **App modernization:** public-sector housing management app moved from a legacy on-premises web application and database to a modern cloud platform — 12 weeks, 1.5 people (traditional estimate: 24–32 weeks, 6–8 people), zero disruption to end users. - **Secure code and infrastructure:** full codebase analysis and remediation of critical vulnerabilities, including an auth/authz redesign — 5 weeks, 1 person (traditional estimate: 12–18 weeks, 3–5 people). ## Engagement types New product builds, platform modernization, system integration, performance optimization, and agentic AI. We respond to inquiries within 1 business day with an honest fit assessment and, where there's a fit, a fixed-price scope and timeline. ## Pages - [Home](https://www.inflection.one/): the premise and operating principles - [Pay for outcomes, not headcount](https://www.inflection.one/outcomes): why small, senior, AI-native teams change delivery economics, what a fixed-price outcome includes (scope, deliverables, acceptance criteria, accountability), and how to have Inflection challenge an existing project estimate - [The Shift](https://www.inflection.one/shift): why the industrial delivery model is obsolete and why large firms can't adapt - [Our Model](https://www.inflection.one/model): delivery cells, AI-native workflows, fixed-price engagements, and a side-by-side comparison with a traditional squad - [Proof](https://www.inflection.one/proof): delivery case examples - [Perspective — Leverage Assessment](https://www.inflection.one/perspective): a two-minute interactive assessment of what coordination costs a team and what AI can add - [Engage](https://www.inflection.one/engage): start a conversation
